Anime Piece Beginner Guide: Leveling, Stats, and Progression

Starting Anime Piece requires completing island quests, allocating stat points into focused attributes, and collecting travel items to reach the maximum level 245. Players progress through sequential anime-themed islands while obtaining combat abilities, swords, and devil fruits from world spawns or rolling.

Starter Island Loop and Essential Mechanics

Every new character begins on Starter Island at level zero. Completing the opening tutorial provides initial currency and introduces basic attacking with melee strikes. Quests in Anime Piece feature an on-screen repeat button, allowing you to reactivate completed assignments without walking back to the quest NPC.

Unlike standard combat-only RPGs, Starter Island progression mixes combat with non-combat tasks across specific level tiers:

  1. Levels 0 to 10: Defeat bandits near the spawn dock to earn basic experience and bandit souls.
  2. Levels 10 to 20: Collect 10 garden fruits while avoiding aggressive monkeys. Picking poisonous or rotten fruit completes the quest but does not grant consumable inventory food.
  3. Levels 20 to 30: Purchase an axe for 95 cash from the tool shop, then chop designated marked trees across the island.
  4. Levels 30 to 40: Purchase a hoe for 150 cash, harvest wheat from the farm field, trade it with Rose for horse feed, and interact with the horses to deliver their meals.
  5. Levels 40 to 45: Fight the island boss, Higaro, who wields a sword and drops Higaro's Sword at a 20% rate alongside the Higaro Mask and teleport crystals.

Resetting character stats in Anime Piece is completely free through the character profile menu. You can allocate points into Strength, Defense, Stamina, Sword, and Fruit without spending Robux, making it easy to test different loadouts while clearing early milestones.

Choosing Your Starting Combat Path

Early damage output relies heavily on matching your allocated stat points to your equipped weapon, style, or ability. Spreading points evenly across all categories weakens your combat effectiveness against high-health bosses.

Combat FocusBest Suited ForInvestment Cost
Sword (Katana or Boss Drops)Grouping enemies with standard slashes and physical skill burstsStat points in Sword, plus 1,000 cash for Katana or boss drops from Higaro
Melee and Flame LegsMobile close-range combinations with burn damage over timeStat points in Strength, plus 15,000 cash paid to the campfire trainer
Devil Fruit AbilitiesLong-range area damage and multi-target farmingStat points in Fruit and Stamina, plus 10,000 cash at the fruit merchant

Players preferring kick-based martial arts can learn Flame Legs from the trainer standing near the campfire on Starter Island for 15,000 cash. The fighting style includes skills such as Shield Kick, Hunter Kick, and Breakdance, alongside a gauge-based fire transformation that adds burn damage to physical hits.

Mobility and Navigation Systems

Moving between islands requires purchasing navigation tools from dock vendors. Pereira on Starter Island sells Island Poses, which point your interface toward specific destinations such as Jungle Island or West Island. Teleport crystals drop from island bosses and enable instant travel between unlocked locations through designated transport NPCs.

For short-range movement, you can unlock Flash Step on Starter Island. Speak with Rob Lucci located behind the windmill and rocky outcrop. Unlocking the ability requires 10,000 cash, 15 Bandit Souls, 15 Rigaru Bandit Souls, and 15 Higaro Souls dropped by defeating the corresponding island hostiles.

Island Progression and Level Route

Progression follows a set sequence of anime-themed islands across the ocean. Attempting higher-level islands prematurely leads to rapid defeats due to aggressive enemy scaling.

Jungle Island (Levels 45 to 75)

Sail directly from Starter Island to Jungle Island using a purchased boat. Early quests require eliminating Warrior Monkeys and gathering bananas scattered across the terrain. Defeating monkeys provides bananas as inventory drops at roughly a 40% to 50% chance.

The Monkey Trader randomly spawns on the island, trading exclusive gear for collected bananas. His stock includes the Monkey Crown for 80 bananas, providing 100 extra health and 100 stamina. At level 70, you unlock the quest to defeat the King Monkey boss, who drops the Banana Sword and accessory items.

West Island / Dragon Ball Island (Levels 75 to 135)

West Island features an urban setting with technological quests and robotic enemies:

  • Levels 75 to 85: Defeat Red Brawlers roaming near the coast.
  • Levels 85 to 90: Purchase a wrench from the West City shop to repair broken fire hydrants across the streets.
  • Levels 90 to 100: Destroy security robots to collect Robot Gears.
  • Levels 100 to 105: Retrieve colored element spheres from marked street locations and deliver them to matching scientists.
  • Levels 105 to 110: Defeat the King Robot boss, who drops the Robot Core and the Bronze Key.
  • Levels 110 to 115: Work as a cafe server, picking up burgers, steaks, and noodles to hand directly to seated customers.
  • Levels 115 to 120: Defeat Android 17 and Android 18.
  • Levels 120 to 130: Battle Dabura, who drops the Flame Sword, the Flame King Cape, and the Silver Key.
  • Levels 130 to 135: Defeat Frieza to obtain the Golden Key and portal chips used for secret boss raids.

Players reaching level 200 can return to West Island with the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Keys to complete an NPC quest unlocking the extended dash.

Online Island (Levels 135 to 200)

Based on Sword Art Online, this zone tasks players with clearing Corrupted Players and Master Players. Boss encounters on Online Island yield specialized equipment drops, including dual blade crafting items and raid boss summon materials.

Sorcery Island (Levels 200 to 245 Cap)

Sorcery Island serves as the final leveling zone, featuring enemies inspired by Jujutsu Kaisen such as the Overtime Sorcerer and White Panda. Quests here award rapid experience to push characters toward the official level 245 ceiling.

Devil Fruits and World Spawns

In Anime Piece, a random fruit spawns beneath trees in the game world every 30 minutes. Once a fruit appears, server notifications alert players to search the islands. Natural spawns include abilities such as Bomb, Quake, Beast, and Flame.

Players can also obtain abilities through the fruit shop at Tião's Bar on Starter Island after reaching level 50. Rolling a random fruit at the gacha counter costs 10,000 in-game cash. Browsing all fruits reveals options extending beyond standard piratical abilities to include transformations like Broly's Beast form, Piccolo's Warrior fruit, and Gojo's Infinity power. Eating any fruit removes your ability to swim in seawater.

Unlocking Armament Haki

Acquiring Armament Haki provides defensive protection and increases overall damage output. The trainer resides inside a hidden cave on Sorcery Island and only speaks to characters who have reached level 200.

Unlocking the base version requires completing three trials:

  1. Deal 100,000 cumulative damage to enemies or bosses.
  2. Deliver 5 Banana Splits to the trainer. Crafting a Banana Split requires 2 Water Buckets from the Starter Island water vendor, 5 bananas dropped by Jungle Island monkeys, and 35 cash.
  3. Defeat 25 full island bosses. Mini-bosses do not count toward this tally.

After finishing all three assignments, pay the trainer 50,000 cash to unlock Armament Haki V1. Activating Haki by pressing J coats your character in protective energy and strengthens both melee hits and weapon strikes throughout endgame farming.
