Ki Dash in Anime Piece is an advanced movement technique unlocked on West Island at level 200. Players must bring $10,000 and three keys dropped by Robot King, Crimson King, and Frieza to the torn-clothes NPC.
Ki Dash Unlock Requirements
Reaching West Island allows players to prepare for one of the longest movement dashes in the game. Unlike the basic evade action, Ki Dash provides significantly increased travel distance, allowing characters to cover open terrain quickly during combat and exploration.
Acquiring the skill requires meeting three distinct conditions before speaking with the quest NPC:
- Reach character level 200.
- Accumulate $10,000 in game currency.
- Collect three specific keys: Bronze Key, Silver Key, and Gold Key.
The quest giver stands in torn clothing near Frieza on West Island. After delivering the items and paying the fee, an in-game cutscene plays where the NPC transforms into a Saiyan, strikes the doorway open, and grants access to the upgraded dash.
Where to Farm the Three Keys
All three required keys drop exclusively from specific bosses located across West Island. Players must defeat these targets repeatedly until each key drops.
| Key | Dropped By | Drop Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze Key | Robot King | 25% |
| Silver Key | Crimson King | 15% |
| Gold Key | Frieza | 15% |
Robot King spawns toward the left side of the island. Crimson King occupies a nearby combat area on the same sector. Frieza is the highest-level standard quest encounter on the island at level 130. In addition to the Gold Key, Frieza drops the Mod Chip at a 20% rate, which grants entry into the Broly raid capsule on the same island.
Mobility Options Comparison
Anime Piece features multiple tiers of mobility that serve different stages of character progression. Choosing the right mobility technique depends on character level and inventory resources.
| Mobility Option | Best Situation | Unlock Requirement and Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Default Dash | Early combat dodging | Available immediately at level 0 |
| Flash Step | Short-range instant repositioning | 15 Bandit Souls, 15 Higaro Bandit Souls, 5 Higaro Souls, and $5,500 |
| Ki Dash | Long-distance field traversal | Level 200, Bronze Key, Silver Key, Gold Key, and $10,000 |
Players unlock Flash Step on Foosha Island by farming souls from early bandits and the Higaro boss. Ki Dash acts as the late-game mobility upgrade once players arrive at West Island and reach level 200.
Unlocking Ki Dash on West Island
Once all three keys drop into player inventory and character level reaches 200, head to the central city area of West Island. Locating Frieza serves as the primary landmark. From Frieza's spawn point, head toward the adjacent building where the torn-clothes NPC stands outside the sealed doorway.
Interact with the NPC to hand over the Bronze Key, Silver Key, Gold Key, and $10,000. Once the transformation cutscene ends, interact with the NPC again to equip the super dash ability. Players can switch back to the standard dash at the same NPC if desired.
After obtaining the Ki Dash, players can continue sailing toward Online Island and Sorcerers Island to work toward the current level cap of 245. High-level mobility makes farming end-game abilities like Armament Haki much faster across the various island locations.
