How to Unlock Armament Haki V1 on Sorcerer Island

The Armament Trainer, also known as the Purple Man, waits inside a cave on Sorcerer Island. Sorcerer Island is the level 165 zone, themed after Jujutsu Kaisen. From the island docks, run right across the running track area to locate the cave entrance.

Speaking to the trainer at level 200 begins a three-part quest line:

  1. Deal 100,000 cumulative damage to any enemies. You can complete this by attacking standard mobs on Sorcerer Island or lower-level targets.
  2. Deliver 5 Banana Splits to the trainer. These must be crafted on Starter Island using gathered ingredients.
  3. Defeat 25 full bosses. Mini-bosses that spawn alongside regular mobs do not register for quest progress. Rotating between world bosses such as Higaro, Frieza, and the Robot King is the fastest way to hit this count.

After turning in the 25 boss kills, speak to the trainer again and pay $50,000 in-game cash to receive Armament Haki V1.

How to Craft Banana Splits on Starter Island

Completing the second quest for Haki V1 requires 5 Banana Splits. These are prepared by speaking with the food merchant NPC located near the center of Starter Island.

Each individual Banana Split requires:

  • 2 Water Buckets
  • 5 Bananas
  • $35 to $50 in-game cash per craft

To collect enough supplies for all 5 Banana Splits, you need 10 Water Buckets and 25 Bananas. Buy the Water Buckets from Miss Water near the garden well on Starter Island. Farm the Bananas by defeating monkeys on Jungle Island, where they drop at a rate between 40% and 50%. Once all materials are in your inventory, return to the Starter Island merchant to assemble the five dishes.

How to Upgrade to Armament Haki V2 on Jungle Island

Upgrading to Armament Haki V2 requires speaking with the Glitch Man NPC located on Jungle Island. This upgrade increases your damage boost by 20% and changes your Haki effect to a distinct purple color.

Before the trainer accepts the upgrade, you must have Haki V1 unlocked and bring the following items:

  • 1 Armament Crystal
  • 1 Magic Ball
  • $35,000 in-game cash

Handing over the materials and payment immediately unlocks V2, which applies whenever you press J to activate your combat buff.

How to Upgrade to Armament Haki V3 on Starter Island

The trainer for Armament Haki V3 is stationed near the shoreline path behind the garden area on Starter Island. Reaching V3 increases your damage boost to 30% and adds an active energy aura around your character.

The requirements for V3 mirror the V2 material list:

  • 1 Armament Crystal
  • 1 Magic Ball
  • $50,000 in-game cash

There is no Armament Haki V4 or V5 in the game. V3 represents the highest tier of the ability before reaching the current level cap of 245.

How to Farm Armament Crystals and Magic Balls

Both Haki upgrades require one Armament Crystal and one Magic Ball, meaning you need two of each item to complete both V2 and V3. Players hunting for these materials can navigate across regions using charted island locations.

Magic Balls are guaranteed drops. Travel to Good House and challenge Old Fighter, who has 20,000 health. Defeating him rewards a Magic Ball with a 100% drop rate.

Armament Crystals drop from the Broly raid boss at a 15% rate:

  1. Defeat Frieza on West Island to obtain a Mod Chip, which drops with a 20% chance. Frieza also drops the Gold Key needed for Ki Dash.
  2. Take the Mod Chip inside the Capsule Corporation laboratory on West Island and speak to the Mad Scientist to open the raid portal.
  3. Enter the portal to fight Broly, who has 70,000 health and hits for 265 damage per strike.

Because Broly deals high damage and cancels player skill animations, defeating him in a group allows you to acquire the necessary Armament Crystals much faster.
